Skeleton Key

I'M HALF DEAD. This is how I can start this blog I had lost all the energy, spirit
that rediscovered on my college life and I afraid that I'm loosing my charecterstics which I don't want to. That really make me sick. When I retrace back to my fiinal year when we used to party everynight for every placement party, this situation seems to be humorous rather than annoying. This is what for we had partied and gave a placement party to our batchmates.
But I'm not tacking this situation as granted and I'm not tacking this as granted I'll come with the solution soon.

My Birthday gift to the Society

I don't no wheather the title is apt or not,but I thought of sticking to it.I thought of posting this on 26 night but due to hectic shedule(one who are close to me feel odd, though true)unable to post. And I'm busy in dowloading Dapper Drake version of Ubuntu.Thanx to Mark Shuttleworth for brining an amazing version. These days I developed hatred towards UPA govt.for its vote bank politics.Lalit led the anti reservation rally from our college, really amazed the way he worked out things within few days, there arosed anti reservation rally from first gate.We thought of presenting a memorandam to DC,but we stick to the suggestions from fellow friends to go to local MLA.I'm really surpised the way she interacted with us I'm deeply pleased with her wide range of knowledge(I think politicians lack wisdom, and I proved my statement by certain situation went on over there.)We headed for a huge rally went whole through the streets of Hamirpur and atlast gave halt at Gandhi chowk and gave a small speech to the gathering, lited candle and headed towards college.I felt imense satisfied by the it went off.I would be most happiest person if I could change mindset of atleast one person.

Now I'm Er. Satish

yeah...call me Er. Satish. Here completed my stupendous B-tech.yeah I'm right in using the phrase stupendous specially keeping in mind my final year, which is not at all worth studying.I'm sure that some memories flash in my mind even after years..Here i want to share some with you.

Journey to my college:
ooh what to say about it. I had a horible journey from Una to Hamirpur, infact my first such journey over hills. We took a cab from Una to Hamirpur with senoirs. Father and myself took the middle seat in sumo and seniors the remaning.Even though I felt normal when seniors started smoking,my father was stunned and warned me "I don't expect such things from you"

First year
Ragging is the most memorable and enjoyable stuff we had.Cricket we played behind my room, late night chat with friends, spending saturday night at seniors room, holi, playing cards, humor from pradeep.Every thing is new here..making friends at new place is not as tough as I though.

Second Year
Spend most of the year in rebuilding my CGPI,the most satisfying thing is that I suceded in doing so.

Third Year
I brought my PC, and spend most of the time here,in other words my best friend was my computer, saw about 80 - 100 movies within single year(I know you can't belive). Most intresting thing that happened in this year was providing internet to hostels. The day we got net facility was the day just ahead of our periodicals,Who cares!! I and vijay spend whole night over net(I think I don't need of mentioning how my periodicals screwed off)

Final Year
FULL MASTI !!!!!!!!

Sleepless nights

When I recalculate these days...,it was not much impressive.Generally I talk to myself,I Question myself I Grade myself,In other words I wan't to be myself. But these five days are longest, frustrating days in my life(I dare to say).Just five minutes back I questioned myself why so?the reason I found was consecutive sleepless nights for five days(I don't no the reason why I can't sleep(phobia)).What I can analyse are the consequenses of those.I felt tired, unable to mingle with friends(as a part of it,I didn't enjoy the party with juniors),lack of patience,Even my project did'nt proceed.Poor chap Kunal trying his hand.I would give 10/10 credits to that guy,the way he worked and shaped up the project is worth appreciable.
So guys/Gals what I lost??is again a question to me... During my last days at college(Is't it sleep?? or .....)

The Great Micro$oft Blunder

I'm a great fan of Free software foundation...and every day check out new developments in free software and Micro$oft. That does'nt mean that i'm deadly waiting for Vista..but any blunders done by Micro$oft may me imense happy one among that is release of IE7...Views in John Dvorak words
think it can now be safely said, in hindsight, that Microsoft's entry into the browser business and its subsequent linking of the browser into the Windows operating system looks to be the worst decision—and perhaps the biggest, most costly gaffe—the company ever made. I call it the Great Microsoft Blunder.

It looks like a whopper that keeps whacking the company. The most recent bash came from the Eolas v. Microsoft patent suit over aspects of the ActiveX usage in Internet Explorer. Microsoft lost and was slapped with a $521 million settlement.

If the problem is not weird legal cases against the company, then it's the incredible losses in productivity at the company from the never-ending battle against spyware, viruses, and other security problems. All the work that has to go into keeping the browser afloat is time that could have been better spent on making Vista work as first advertised.

All of Microsoft's Internet-era public-relations and legal problems (in some way or another) stem from Internet Explorer. If you were to put together a comprehensive profit-and-loss statement for IE, there would be a zero in the profits column and billions in the losses column—billions.

The joke of it is that Microsoft is still working on this dead albatross and is apparently ready to roll out a new version, since most of the smart money has been fleeing to Firefox or Opera. This means new rounds of patches and lost money. Continue reading…

This fiasco and the great Microsoft Blunder began when Marc Andreessen, then of Netscape, made some silly, off-handed remark about how the browser would become the next platform for applications and suggested, in so many words, that Microsoft would be destroyed. Instead of the boys at Microsoft laughing out loud and then ignoring this remark, they started scrambling around like ants on a hot stove.

The next thing you know, Microsoft went Internet slaphappy. Besides cobbling together a browser from any code it could license, it rolled out all sorts of Internet magazines and various Internet-centric ideas to the point where it was obvious to anyone watching that the company itself was believing all the hype coming from outside. The main piece of propaganda among the Internet-centric ideas was that the personal computer is dead. "There'll be no computers in a few short years, as everything will be embedded and become appliances," said all the experts. But Microsoft buys the fear. It must have some of the lowest corporate self-esteem for any dominant company in the history of modern business. The company is like the panicky old woman wondering how she lost a penny in her purse while giving exact change in the express line at the grocery store. Hey lady, you are holding things up!

Firefox sorts out security flaws

Computer users are urged to update firefox web browser to close serious security holes in it.Some of the security lapses in Mozilla software, which Firefox is based on, could allow malicious hackers to hijack computers.Programs like Firefox have been thought to be more secure than other browsers such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer because of its links to the open-source software community.Users should make sure they have the most up-to-date version of Firefox, which is version 1.5.0.2.

Greatest Ever match in histroy of cricket

"Nothing is Impossible, the word itself says I'm possible" that is what sorrounded my brain yesterday.
After having a beautiful week-end with my friends,we returened to our hostels at 9:00 PM.We had a tiresome journey by visiting Palampur a nearby hill station,we thought of laying over bed,but I'm forced to sit before my computer and my neighbour said said about the match between Australia Vs South Africa. Wow, I can't belive this is the first word of my wordings that yelled.Ausies set impeccable target of of 435 is limited overs cricket being a cricket freak and Confucious of cricket ,what the only thing romed in my mind is "impossible".But the thick skinned fellow are allready on their way. With magnificient contibutions from Smith,Gibbs, they acheived the target which remains as the greatest match of cricket histroy.South African media hailed their cricket team
"Gibbs leads the chase as Proteas whip Aussie ass,"and another news paper cartoon reads this "I think this is a serious call for the establishment of the SPCB - The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Bowlers"

demons walk

We thought of having a walk over college campus, myself, tejaswi, sashi, sujit, girish, tillu and negi started to canteen.Inthe typical way myself and girish formed a group having our own discussion about cricket feast we had at evening. After having dicussion we thought of extracting humor out of Vikram - Betaal ,Girish took me over his shoulders and said to narrate a story,I started with typical voice of betaal " Khahani ke baad ek question puchunga...."Girish started laughing...first I did'nt got the reason behind that and obviously asked reason ...To my surprise he said that "A bey bolna hai thoo poora hindi mein bolna bech mein question kahan se ayaa"and I continued laugh where he ended ...After having coffee we continued walk toward Jucie bar there we started our discussion (debate) over present US strategy over Iran.. Negi and Shasi started exchanging their veiws where teju is biased towards sashi and myself towards negi... I did'nt participated at initial stage much, but watched them carefully..While sashi in support of US deeds, myself and negi against them.Negi's talk went much in humanitarian view where as I went against there dictorialship and struggle to capture oil feilds...
We had a long long discussion ...

night with my friends

After having tiresome day myself and sujit thought of seing movie... First we got review from our viewers community and at last decided to see Cry_wolf(projected to us as suspense thriller),So we started of by sitting in our typical positions over bed.. everything went fine ...and we thought of having a dinner break with Sashi(bangali)and vijay...we had a delicious dinner and thought of continuing... here started our problem Sashi so called kutta reveled the suspense (he is having the habit roaming here and there,if his habit ends here it is fine for us..but he reveled the suspense ).Then we continued movie with half hearted....eventhough it is a nice movie.Immediatly we started and movie Saving private Ryan audience included myself sujit, vijay, sashi, teju, negi and girish but these guys made our life more difficult..sashi disturbing always ..we thought stopping and gave a nice dose for notorious sashi..in that ocasion we tore teju's shirt ...and we competed that cermony by making a beggar and we our selfs tied to our heads like head band...and we ourselfs are of rock band in 70'sand rocked to tunes of Manson....there ended our so called movie
