Lord of War Reveiw

TAGLINE:The first and most important rule of gun-running is: never get shot with your own merchandise.
Ever since Russia attacked Afghanistan...arming the tribes, land lords, warlords become a common thing. This film is based on a merchant involved in wepons bussiness. This movie will remain as a one more feather in Nicolas Cage performance.I'm not a big fan of Cage untill this movie, but the way he presented himself is amazing.

This film charts the rise and fall of Yuri Orlov, selling guns to mobsters in his local neighbourhood, through to his ascension through the decade of excess and indulgence into the early 90s, where he forms a business partnership with an African warlord and his psychotic son. The film also charts his relationship through the years with his younger brother, his marriage to a famous model, his relentless pursuit by a determined Interpol and his inner demons that sway between his drive for success and the immorality of what he does.Keeping the thing weather he is right or wrong, the way he carried his bussiness over years is astonishing. He looses his brother in coarse of time
Some tags that remained peak in this movie:
Interpol: Nine out of ten war victims are killed by small riffels and small arms..these nuclear wepons sit in silence, your AK-47 are the real wepons of mass destuctions
Cage: you have no proof to attest me...can I go now??
Interpol:you must know that I'm legally permitted to hold you upto 24 hrs..If you ask me the reason...it is not that I enjoy ur company, but i'm delaying your deadly bussiness by 24 hrs and deaths of your victims..It does'nt mean that I'm taking daay from you but giving a day for them
In another projected conversation...
Interpol: I thought of sending you to HELL, but you are already in hell

Lost wallet returned 39 years on

A US man has praised the "good, honest" people of Utah after a wallet he left behind 39 years ago was returned to him in Pennsylvania.Doug Schmitt, 57, left his wallet on the counter of a petrol station in Logan, Utah, in the spring of 1967.The owner put the wallet in a drawer in the hope Mr Schmitt would come back to collect it.Decades on, his son-in-law found it, tracked Mr Schmitt down on the internet and sent it to him.The wallet still contained $5 in cash and 8-cent airmail stamps. An equivalent stamp today costs 39 cents.

Countdown for nasty Windows virus

PC users have been urged to scan their computers before 3 February to avoid falling victim to a destructive virus. On that date the Nyxem virus is set to delete Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Acrobat files on infected machines.Nyxem is thought to have caught out many people by promising porn to those who open the attachments on e-mail messages carrying the virus. Anti-virus companies have stopped lots of copies, suggesting it had infected a large number of computers. However, Lurhq reported that more than 300,000 machines are known to have fallen victim to Nyxem-E.Like many recent viruses, Nyxem tries to spread by making people open attachments on e-mail messages that are infected with the destructive code. The subject lines and body text of the various messages Nyxem uses vary, but many falsely claim that pornographic videos and pictures are in the attachments.
So, friends be carefull...

Shuttle is a death trap, says astronaut

ONE OF America's most experienced astronauts has denounced the space shuttle as a death trap and accused U.S. space officials of stifling all concerns raised about its safety. The revelation comes as America prepares to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Challenger disaster.Seven astronauts were killed on 28 January 1986, when their shuttle exploded 73 seconds after take-off.Veteran astronaut Mike Mullane's outburst therefore comes at a deeply embarrassing time for Nasa. Apart from dealing with the Challenger anniversary, it is now struggling to save its remaining space shuttles so they can complete the international space station.

However, all three are still grounded because engineers have not yet fixed insulation problems that doomed Challenger's sister craft, Columbia, in 2003."It's the most dangerous manned spacecraft ever flown," said Mullane, who took part on three shuttle missions before retiring in 1990.

Africa as an outsourcing Hub

Businessweek wrote about Africa coming into its own as an outsourcing destination,"...the biggest surprise these days is the emergence of Africa as an outsourcing hub. Led by South Africa, which already has more than 500 call centers serving companies such as Lufthansa and General Electric Co. in English, Dutch, and other languages, other countries on the continent are jumping on the bandwagon. Cairo-based Xceed Contact Center handles calls in Arabic and European languages for Microsoft, General Motors, Oracle, and Carrefour. The latest hopeful is which is promoting English skills, a strong bond rating, tax breaks, and subsidies for training to attract call centers...

Chinese revolution turns hi-tech

An explosion of captalism has given cities like Shangai and Beijing futeristic skylines.Big bussiness and consumer technology alike have found a new home here.Mobile phones and camareas have become must haves-everywhere you go,people are talking ,texting, and surfing. The country is the world's largest producer of mobile phones,PC's and camears ,which it can churn out in their resource --people.
It is worth taking a minute to look at the statistics, because they are truly amazing. China is the world's most populous country, with 1.3 billion people. On size alone, it is fast becoming a technology superpower and it almost has no choice in the matter. For example, even though only 8% of its people have access to the internet, this equates to 100 million people online, second only to the US.
China is dotted with rabbit warrens of small electronics boutiques, selling everything from known brands to home-made kit, multi-coloured CDs to 2GB memory cards. No-one can accuse the Chinese of being behind the times. It will come as little surprise that China is now the world's largest cell phone market, with more than 380 million mobiles. And, just like internet penetration, the number is rising at an impressive rate. But perhaps here, more than in most countries, phones have an added value. In a place where public displays of affection and freedom to say what you want are still not to be taken for granted, mobile phones offer new privacy for conversation and romance.

Rising concentrations of gases may have more serious impacts than previously believed,a major scientific report has said. There is only a small chance of green house gas emissions being kept below dangerous levels.
Greenland ice is likely to melt, leading sea levels to to rise seven meters over 1000 years
"The thing that is perhaps not so familiar to members ofthe public ... is this notion that we could come to a tipping point where change could be reversible"
